Settling In
Once you have made the decision to register your child/children with us at Darling Buds, you will be invited to spend some time in your child’s/children’s group. During this time you will have the opportunity to meet the staff and ask any questions you may have before you leave your little one(s) in our care. Our gentle settling-in process also means that your child/children will be invited to stay (by arrangement) for a short period of time without you present. This will allow them to meet their Carers, make friends and enjoy the warm, caring environment in which every child feels at home.
Your child/children will be allocated a Key Worker before he/she starts with us. The Key Worker welcomes and looks after your child ensuring that their care is tailored to meet their individual needs. The Key Worker offers a settled relationship for your little one(s) and builds a relationship with Parents/Carers ensuring the family have a familiar contact person during the settling-in period. to assist with the settling-in process.
